1. Educational purpose

The Service offers educational charts, averages, and informal guidance only. Numbers may rely on delayed public statistics or sample data. Nothing on the Service is professional financial, investment, insurance, legal, tax, or mechanical advice. Pump prices vary by station, grade, taxes, and promotions. Always confirm prices, octane, and safety requirements at the point of sale. You are solely responsible for fueling and vehicle decisions.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to probe, scan, overwhelm, or circumvent security; use automated means in a way that harms performance; or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or stop access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or others.

3. Voluntary price submissions

The Service includes an optional feature that lets you report a fuel price you personally observed at a retail station. By submitting a price report, you represent that:

• The price you enter is a real price you observed at a retail fueling station.
• You are not submitting false, manipulated, or synthetic data intended to distort the dataset or degrade the Service for other users.

By submitting a price report, you grant The Canny Coyote LLC a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, process, and incorporate that submission into the Service's dataset and forecasting models. We have no obligation to use, display, or retain any individual submission. We may reject, flag, or discard submissions that appear inaccurate, duplicative, or abusive without notice. Submitting deliberately false data may result in suspension of access to the Service.

4. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, timeliness, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Canny Coyote LLC and its owners, members, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.
